Mission: To install the latest Alpine 9 inch screen X901D-G7

This car required a full infotainment upgrade so we decided to install the latest Alpine 9″ X901D-G7.

It’s high resolution touch screen has a full host of features including: navigation, DAB (digital radio), CD, DVD, iphone, streaming, hands free Bluetooth, USB + many more features.

It’s the largest screen you can get for a Volkswagen as of 2016 and at 9 inches, it’s almost double the standard 6.5 inch that you’d come to expect.

This unit FULLY integrates with the VWs OEM systems such as steering wheel controls, cluster display (DIS/MFD), USB ports etc.  Options include adding a reverse camera (or integrating with cars OEM VW camera), DVD and CD player, Wireless Charging Pad (to name a few!)

The car’s PDC (parking sensors) and cars setup systems all integrate and get displayed on the Alpine’s screen & menu.
