Mission: Upgrade radio / navigation to double din touch screen
This customer was in desperate need of an entertainment upgrade in their Porsche 996. They opted for a double din touch screen unit by Pioneer (AVIC-F88DAB) that boasted both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
After we installed and integrated the unit into their vehicle, they could easily connect their iPhone or Android phone to their Porsche and take handsfree calls via bluetooth, have their text messages read out to them on the move and stream their music, podcasts and audio books.
The new sat nav/ GPS system meant they could set up a journey within seconds and easily navigate the roads ahead. No hassle. No fiddly buttons.
This type of radio nav upgrade is perfect for Porsche models 997, 991, Carrera GT 980, 918 Spyder, Macan and Cayenne 955 / 957 / 958.
