Mission : Installation of Towbar and cycle rack.

This Q7 had the official towbar fitted, this tow bar was wired up with official Audi electronics and was fully connected to the cars CANbus system. This allows the car to know what is going on with the trailer, so it can adjust ALL cars driving modules relevant to the trailer state. Also simply things like Reverse sensors switch OFF when a trailer is hitched.

It’s the correct way to install a towbar and if you plan to fit any towbar to your new Audi PLEASE check this fact!
