Fault
BMW instrument display / cluster / speedo lights do not work during the day but are fine at night.
The BMW’s white speed and rev lines on the cluster are normally visible during the day. However, these can suddenly develop a serious fault and become invisible / faint in the daytime, but work just fine at night as the orange lights are utilised.
This problem is found in BMW 1 Series and 3 Series.
Can this problem be fixed?
Yes. If your BMW cluster has this issue, you can remove it from your vehicle and send it to us for repair. After the repair service has been carried out, we load the car’s data set to the cluster. This allows you to refit the cluster without the need to visit BMW for a (expensive) reprogramming session. This is a fast track repair service (48hrs).
