Mission: Upgrade BMW radio system and speakers

This customer wanted to upgrade their BMW’s speakers and improve their speaker sound. The Sony Hi-Resolution Audio Head Unit (RSX-GS9) was the perfect solution.

We rebuilt this BMW 3’s doors and added 3 Sony mid-range speakers including tweeters. In addition to the tweeters in the door, we added Sony Hi-Definition tweeters on the dashboard. The Sony Audio Super Tweeters use an ultra-high frequency reproduction range over 50 kHz.

The RSX-GS9 that we added is a high resolution head unit which is one the best sounding head units available on the market for the audiophiles amongst you. This is true high resolution audio.

It allows for a great sound (up to 5.6 MHz/1bit for DSD through USB-DAC). It has a wide codex support: AAC, WMA, AIFF, ALAX, DSD, WAV, MP3 & FLAC. It’s Bluetooth ready too.

The Sony RSX-GS9 has simple clean lines and a brushed aluminium front making it desirable for those who admire the classy minimalist look – a far cry from most standard units available on the market today. This unit suits all types of car, but they look especially good in classic cars.

You can connect your Apple iPhone or Android device with the dedicated SongPal App (available on app stores) to fully control and customise your sound.
